The Horse & His Boy Review

The Horse and His Boy - C.S. Lewis

Hey everyone and how's it going? I'm doing pretty good myself! I am in a happy mood, because I am turning out book reviews like crazy! I know it's a review on a children's book, but it's better then nothing! So, this time I will be reviewing "The Horse & His Boy" by C.S. Lewis and here I go.

The story is about a boy named Shasta who was brought up by a fisherman name Arsheesh. As it turns out Arsheesh isn't Shasta's father. So, he runs away with a talking horse name Bree, together they heading to Narnia where Bree is from. They run into a girl named Aravis and her talking horse named Hwin. As they all run away, they head to a city where Shasta is mistaking to be another boy by King Edmund and Queen Susan. During this adventure Shasta learns who he really is.

This book like the other two was amazing, again I wished I would have read these when I was a kid, but it's better now then never. It was nice to see how a grown up Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy where handling themselves.  This story was again so amazing! Shasta who had come from nothing, finally had felt accepted and wanted when he had learn his true fate. The fact that he stayed true to himself and never gave up is inspiring for anyone at any age. I am glad to have read this book and learn the lesson Shasta has learned along the way! Mr. Lewis really knows how to teach a child and adult on just about anything.

Well, that's it from me! I'll be back on Wed with yet another review! Which is really exciting for me. Until then, I hope you all have a great day/night where ever you are.
