The amazing world of "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" By Ransom Riggs

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs

This is my favorite book thus far for this year of 2014. I...wow...loved every bit of this book and the fact that Ransom did an amazing job of adding authentic and real photos into this book. Like creepy Santa, I'm so excited to be reading Hollow City this month and I can't wait to see what kind of journey Jacob and his Peculiar friends are going to have. AMAZING BOOK IS AMAZING :) yes, I know that not a lot of people will agree with me, but I just loved it so much. Smiley face :) again.

For those who do not know what this story is about. It's about 16 year old Jacob Portman who's grandfather tells him a story about his youth and the house he was sent to in Wales during World War II and the peculiar children that lived there. Jacob believed his grandfather when he was younger and his grandpa would show him pictures of some of the children, but as Jacob become older he no longer believes his grandpa and Jacob thinks he is crazy, until one horrible night his grandpa was killed. When this happens Jacob makes the decision of wanting to go to Wales and know more about Miss Peregrine and the children his grandpa talked about. Jacob arrives and explore and finally he gets the answer he was looking for, then he slowly realize that his grandpa Portman was not a liar after all, he was telling the truth and these children are alive somehow. It's up to Jacob and his new friends to figure out why his grandfather has sent him to Miss Peregrine and what they have to do to save the world his grandfather knew.

Again, this book is just filled with Awesome! And I did not want to put it down, I wanted the journey to last a long as possible, but now that I have Hollow City. I'm pretty happy to have read this story. Again, props to Ransom Riggs for his (pardon my language) kick ass usage of the pictures in this story, I'm excited to find out more about Jacob and his friends and what will happened, but until then Enjoy this book.

Later Days!
