The Magician's Nephew Review

The Magician's Nephew - C.S. Lewis

Hey everyone and how's it going? I'm doing pretty good, I had a long weekend. I know now how to bar tend a little! So, I'm going to do a quick review on the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia Series, which is "The Magician's Nephew" by C.S. Lewis! I was originally thinking of doing one collective review, but it's more fun this way. So, here I go!

Now, of course I have seen the three movies that have been made and I know what it was about. I actually received this book as a Christmas present by my best friend at the time 16 years ago how crazy! I just now actually got around to reading it, I might have then, but it's been so long.

Well, this book was a delight to read and I loved the little lessons it gave you. I found that Digory and Polly were just adorable and Digory's Uncle Andrew needed to be smacked behind the head. Just reading how Narnia began was amazing. It was nice to actually sit down and start from the beginning and see how it all started. Of course the white witch had to be there from the beginning. This book again was delightful to read and I enjoyed the history and the beginning of Narnia and Aslan creating Narnia from song. I know I'm not the ideal age to read this, but still it was wonderful! I can't wait to pass it on.

Well, that's it from me! I know it was a super quick review. I will be back on Wed with another post. Until then, I hope you all have a great day/night where ever you are!
