Stephen King's On Writing Review

On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft - Stephen King

Hey everyone and how's it going? Awesome I hope!!! I'm doing pretty good myself! Well, today I am bringing you a review. I know it's not the Water for Elephants review, but it will come soon! No, I will be reviewing "On Writing a Memoir of the Craft" by Stephen King. It's going to be pretty quick so strap in!

Well, quick blurb it's just Stephen King being Stephen King writing to beginning writers on what to expect from the writing world. Plus, what he has been through growing up!

Okay, so I bought this book a few years ago and I was trying to read it, but other books got in the way lol! Well, I finally got around to reading this and I honestly thought this was a really good book. It was entertaining and I learned a lot from this famed Author! He wrote this book to help out writers and to really get to the point of it all and just pretty much wrote like he was talking to a friend. I learned that he was badly struck by a car in 99 which was wow, I didn't know that! I grew up knowing who Stephen King was, by the books and the movies that were created (mainly by the movies) I have tried to read "The Dead Zone" but I kind of lost track of what I was reading due to the fact that I was a sophomore in high school. I really need to get on that train again! I have respected towards Mr. King and what he has written over the years. He also seems to know what he is talking about. He may not be everyone's cup of tea or whatever; but to me he is the king of the horror!

So, that's it! That's all I have for this book. I know like I said quick! I learned new things about writing and about him! I will be back on Friday with yes! The review to "Water for Elephants" (which is one of Mr. Kings recommended reads on a list in the back of the book). I know that some of you are looking forward to this review, and I will have it up! So be prepared for the gooshy stuff I will say about this book! Until then, I hope you all have a great day/night where ever you are!
