Updates and what I've been up to

Hello everyone, I know it's been awhile since I last wrote. I had been working up until the stay at home order had been place in my State. So, I've been out of work since March and I'm missing it. But, I will say that I've been doing a lot of reading since then.

So, last month I participated in a Booktube read-a-thon called O.W.L.s Magical Read-a-thon. I had so much fun doing this and I loved the fact that this read-a-thon is based around Hogwart's classes. For those who don't know, this read-a-thon has been created by a Booktuber called Book Roast. She is the one who created this awesome thing and has been at it for three years now. I will leave a link to that specific video, so that way she can give you a better explanation for the read-a-thon  Magical Read-A-Thon. This also is a month long event and there is her N.E.W.T.s one as well that is in August.

This was my first time participating in this, I have heard of it, but I finally did it this year since ya know Quarantine has decided to become Jumanji in real life (freaking Murder Hornets!) Anywhozzles, I've read eight book for this, but, I've read nine in total, the last book was a reread and wanted to finish it. Here is the books I've read &/or listened to last month.

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stephenson 3 stars

Heartless by Marissa Meyer 5 stars

How To Be Brave by E. Katherine Kottaras 4 stars

Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell 5 stars

And The Trees Crept In by Dawn Kurtagich 5 stars

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater 5 stars

Past The Wishing...by Jen Deweerdt 5 stars

Wildly Into The Dark by Tyler Knott Gregson 5 stars

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (my reread) 5 stars

That was my read pile from last month!

Now, I've notice on here that booklikes is having a problem keeping tabs on the reading challenge that we all set up for the year. I've currently read 17 books so far out of 40, but I'm just going with the flow and if I hit 40 or more awesome, if not awesome either way lol!

For this month I have 10 books lined up for my TBR since the stay at home order is still in affect and I don't know when I will return to work. I've already finished two books out of the list and I'll put those on top when I list my TBR for this month.

Storm Prey by John Sandford 3 stars

Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho 5 stars

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Year One by Nora Roberts

The Lost World by Michael Crichton

Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them (the movie script) by J.K Rowling

Asymmetry by Lisa Halliday

The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson

Buffering by Hannah Hart

Sadie by Courtney Summers

I am of course going to be doing the Bout of Books read-a-thon starting tomorrow and I cannot wait! Well, I've blabbed on for too long and I thank you all for reading this! I hope you all have an awesome week and that you all are still going strong or doing your best during this crazy ass time! I'll write to you all tomorrow!

Toddles!!!
