A Misfit Reader

So, day 3 is almost done and I finally finished my first book today (oops :) ). I'm now starting my second book called: Vignettes and Postcards Edited by Erin Byrne and Anna Pook. Also, the challenge of the day! Today the challenge is hosted by blogger My Overstuffed Shelves. The challenge this made me think of that. I'll explain in a short while. So how's everyone else doing with their reading? Ok, so here we go!

Challenge: This Made Me Think of That hosted by My Overstuffed Shelves 

So, for this challenge all you have to do is compare a book that you've read or currently reading, to another book, movie, favorite dish, pretty much anything you can think of. Here is my pairing:

The book "Friendship Cemetery" by Adele Elliott of another book that I've read "This Wicked Game" by Michelle Zink and the T.V. show The Ghost Whisper. First, between the two books they both talk about New Orleans and have a bit of southern charm. Between the book and T.V. show they talk about paranormal. All three do have paranormal in common and they all seem to bring out a bit of mystery too. 

So, there is my This Made Me Think of That challenge. This was pretty fun and I can't wait for more!
